Green Lantern may be the biggest comic book superhero left who has never had either a movie or TV show.  The bad news is that Hal Jordan is going to be played by Ryan Reynolds.  But the good news is that, judging by the trailer, this movie is going to go for an utterly epic scale of storytelling — as huge a scale as any of these movies has yet attempted.  I dig that.

If you can stand Mr. Reynolds for more than two minutes at a time, this might be a blast.  But on the other hand, rumor has it that studio interference has dumbed this movie way down from what it was supposed to be.
